Tips for starting to learn Japanese

Q: Hi nice site I was wondering if you have any tips as I am starting to learn japanese. I have begun by learning hiragana what do you think I should learn after that? Thanks – Darren

Q: Is there a place that you can learn japanese for free with out having to use a credit card or bank account? – britney
A: All the Japanese lessons on www.GenkiJapan.net are free, all you have to pay for is if you wish to download the material onto your mp3 player. If you just play the games etc. online you don’t need a credit card nor a bank account!

A:It’s sort of like the alphabet, it’s one of the ways of writing down Japanese words.
